Srivijaya International Airport

Conform with the standardization of ICAO and the FAA requirements with the land size of more than 1,800 rai and Instrument Landing System (ILS), it can be installed as a high standards commercial airport. The center of freight regional/overseas (at present time all Southern cargoes have to be transported by train to Alor Star of Malaysia, later to be exported by airplanes. Be able to accommodate the biggest wide body commercial airplane. Fairly and equally serve all flights domestic and international including all charter flights from every airline, regional and overseas. Runway direction is in the same direction as Surat Thani airport to go along the local wind direction. Very low noise pollution due to all aircraft can make a take off and landing from the sea when the winds are within limits.

Most important part, an Airport

First of all we have to pro​vide land for the airport, at least 1,800 rai/288 hectare. The land should be long enough to make a long runway, so it can recieve civilian transportation airplanes like the A380. The runway direction shall be built  long the local wind direction, take off/landing wind speed limitations. The surrounding area shall have a safe distance from villages to limit noice pollution.
